Kennedy jingle from 1960 is adapted for Obama

Obama Jingle based on JFK clip from 1960In a blast from the past an old Kennedy jingle from 1960 is adapted for Obama’s campaign in 2012!  Professional jingle writers at Write Me A Jingle have taken a John F. Kennedy campaign ad and created an unofficial jingle for President Obama’s campaign this year.

The original jingle was written for Kennedy back in 1960 when he was running against Richard Nixon.

“Kennedy! Kennedy! Kennedy! Kennedy for me!”

“Do you want a man for president who’s seasoned through and through, but not so doggone seasoned that he won’t try something new?”

The words in the new jingle are exactly the same, just with Obama’s name replacing that of Kennedy.

“You’ll cast your vote for Obama and the change that’s overdue, so it’s up to you, it’s up to you, it’s strictly up to you!”

You can check out the new video for Obama, below, followed by the original from 1960.
