Ann Coulter calls for more concealed carry permits

True to form, right-wing pundit Ann Coulter responded to the Connecticut shooting by calling for more concealed weapons permits.

Coulter told Hannity, “It’s a fact that there is only one policy that has been shown to reduce the incidence of multiple shootings. There’s always going to be crazy people in a country of 300 million people. Only one policy has reduced these mass shootings and the number of casualties, and that is concealed carry permits. If you want to reduce the number of dead, and the number of times this is going to happen in an area, you sort of sense this, because Although, it’s bee a long time since a school shooting, post offices, places that are gun free zones.”

    I hesitate to say any decent huner would use one of them, because they’re not powerful enough. A common deer rifle is more powerful than a modern military rifle. Far more shot-for-shot killing power.
    Modern military rifles use rounds deliberately less powerful than common large gtame rounds, because a soldier needs to carry more rounds, and a wounded enemy takes more of his fellows out of the action than a dead one.
    Odd that the military-styled rifles are designed to be less lethal than a deer rifle, yet are reviled for being highly effective killing machines.

    And an “assault werapon” is a fiction made up to confuse ignorant people over whether we’re doing enough to sdtop common criminals from having machine guns. An assault rifle must be capable of fuly-auto fire. If it’s not capable of fully auto fire, it’s not “assault” anything, except against the tender ignorant sensibilities of those who are afraid of the “wicked” looks of a black military styled over-priced semi-auto rifle.
