‘Dictatorship’ and ‘debacle’: Reid Attacks Boehner

Senator Reid: House 'being operated by a dictatorship'Frustrated by the impending fiscal cliff and the continuing silence of the GOP leadership, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) indicated today that he did not think there was enough time to avoid automatic spending cuts and tax increases unless House Republicans approved a Senate bill that would preserve existing tax rates on income under $250,000.

However, he went on to express pessimism at this prospect stating: “Everyone knows that if they [the House] had brought up the Senate-passed bill, it would pass overwhelmingly. But the speaker says, no we can’t do that.” He went on to add that the House of Representatives is “being operated by a dictatorship of the speaker.”

Is there any way the House could make a vote of No Confidence or something similar and remove that buffoon from the Speaker’s position? He has created nothing but chaos, dissension and fear for no reason other than he enjoys the power. Seems if it is possible to do so, they could vote a temporary replacement who might actually decide to get something done other than vacation.
