FOX News and Bill O’Reilly continue to perpetuate the preposterous notion that there is a War On Christmas—but now it comes with a new twist! According to them, the fault lies with the abortion and the gay rights agendas.
Imus In The Morning producer Bernard McGuirk proclaimed “This war on Christmas is very, very real and if you ask me, in addition to some grouchy misanthropic heathen atheists…at the root of it, it has to do with two things: abortion and the gay rights agenda. Because Christianity is against those things and it’s subtle, but that’s why it’s so pronounced in recent years—in my opinion.”
O’Reilly agreed with McGuirk’s assessment and added, “…legalized drugs is in that as well…”
Abortion, gay rights and drugs. These men appear to be serious.
Their message is meant for the Tea Party extremists. They are desperate and fighting a losing battle. Conservative media and the GOP hang on to every issue that lost them the election. They are unable to understand that we are now in the 21st century and more and more, FOX News and all who are on it are like a twisted version of The Jerry Springer Show.
