Conservative talk show host Bill O’Reilly breaks it down and assures his audience that all they need is a charismatic leader who can “fight off the media jackals” and then successfully turn the country to the right.
He argues that inherently “America is a place of achievement” and the problem lies with those selfish takers. Those lazy people buying into the liberal thought who only want to take handouts without putting any effort into making their lives better. He says the country is shifting to an entitlement society and adds, “It’s not so much that apathetic Americans are embracing the tenets of the left, it’s just that they’re selfish and they want money for nothing.” According to O’Reilly, President Obama doesn’t want to help people succeed, so it’s not really the fault of the people, they’ve just been brainwashed by the elitist media to feel they are owed a living.
This is the new plan with conservatives. They are complaining they have no real leadership and think that by adding this idea to the argument that Americans have become moochers and can be enlightened by a conservative leader with charisma, the country’s course of liberal thought will change.
Evidently, Donald Trump, Sarah Palin and Hermain Cain didn’t fit the bill. Chris Christie might work but will the extreme right embrace him?
Meet the new plan. Same as the old plan. Criticize the population and then ask for their vote.
Not a winning strategy, but that hasn’t stopped the GOP before and it doesn’t look like it will anytime soon.
What does O”Reilly think he is getting paid for, if what he contributes to the well being of the country isn’t “nothing”, then I don’t know what is. This maven of malevolence is a parasite whose poison appeals to the worst instincts of the people whose lives he touches. He is a sad and pathetic bully without a redeeming quality.
