Draft Ted Nugent to Serve on the Front Lines in Afghanistan
Novelist and blogger Douglas Anthony Cooper has created a new petition on Change.org asking President Barack Obama to draft Ted Nugent into military service.
Entitled “President Barack Obama: Draft Ted Nugent to Serve on the Front Lines in Afghanistan,” the petition states:
Ted Nugent, draft dodger, should have the opportunity to redeem his sullied reputation, so that he can better drown us in a cesspool of guns. In fact, we should make him do this. An executive order is appropriate: Mr. President, please draft the Nuge.

@Ed…1. If those lawyers of which you speak are progressives, that means they favor Obama. Progressive means going forward, not backward. Like Obama, taking us into the future, instead of 100 years in the past, as the Republicans would like to do.
2. Do you need to be an astronaut to teach astrophysics? No. When you get your degree in Congressional Law, then you can talk to us about what you know. But if you’re saying Obama can’t be commander in Chief because he didn’t serve…Well, technically, neither did Bush, Jr. He spent his “time” in the military behind a desk on one bender after another. Helps when your dad is the CIA director, then you don’t have to put your ass on the line for war. Hey, did Romney go to war? OOOOH, right, he was on a “mission” because his family had money so he didn’t have to fight.
3. Ted Nugent wants an arsenal, fine. He should have been willing to die for his country to have that right. Honestly, he was “too crazy” for Vietnam, but he’s perfectly sane to own over 200 guns? What alternate, crazy universe do you live in where this makes sense??? Is this also a universe where Unicorns are straight?
