Sophia Petrillo puts the need and desire for marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples in a very astute yet simple way.
And while it is true that the 80s sitcom “Golden Girls” was groundbreaking on several fronts to include not only LGBT issues, but also drug abuse, HIV/AIDS and female sexuality – isn’t a bit sad to recognize the fact that America still has a long ways to go towards accepting equal marriage for all? Hint hint.
