Earlier today Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) suggested to Fox News host, Chris Wallace, that creating a flat tax could satisfy LGBT Americans instead of marriage rights because under this proposed system straight marriages would not continue getting a tax break.
“You know the tax code — I’m for a flat income tax, and we wouldn’t have marriage as part of the tax code.”
