Rutgers University has fired basketball coach Mike Rice after footage of his behavior ws shown on ESPN’s Outside the Lines which showed Rice being physically and verbally abusive to players.
Rutgers officials made the announcement early Wednesday morning:
“Based upon recently revealed information and a review of previously discovered issues, Rutgers has terminated the contract of Mike Rice.”
