Parks & Recreation star, Amy Poehler, was speaking to a young viewer in the latest installment of her “Ask Amy” web series and reassured her that it is okay to disconnect from media in light of recent tragic events.
The Newton native and graduate of Boston College told the viewer:
“I don’t know. It’s been tough, hasn’t it? Doesn’t it feel like we’re just bombarded with stuff now, that everywhere we go there’s just some picture that’s worse than the one before?”
“I don’t know if this makes any sense. This has been a weird week, hasn’t it? So thanks, Millie, and I love you, Boston.”
