Even Bill Clinton Couldn’t Reunite Led Zeppelin (VIDEO)

Bill Clinton Led ZeppelinBill Clinton brokered the first face to face agreement between Israel and the Palestinians. He played a crucial role in the peace process in North Ireland. He personally negotiated the release of American prisoners recently in Pyongyang who were being held by the North Korean government. But even Bill Clinton was unable to broker a Led Zepellin reunion late last year.

As reported this weekend by CBS’s 60 Minutes Overtime, David Salzman, of the Robin Hood Foundation, and film executive Harvey Weinstein flew to Washington last year to enlist the assistance of Bill Clinton in trying to reunite Led Zepellin to perform at last year’s benefit concert for the victims of Hurricane Sandy in New York City.

Clinton agreed to meet with Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones who were in Washington at the time to attend a celebration honoring their work being held at last December’s Kennedy Center Gala.
