Colorado GOP Groups Endorses Pro-Gun Romance Author To Challenge Sen. John Morse

Jaxine Bubis

In GOP’s effort to recall gun-safety advocate, Senator John Morse, they continue to embarrass themselves with huge missteps and miscalculations in basic campaign strategy. The latest in their string of gaffes, is their local endorsement of a self-proclaimed “Paranormal and Hockey Romance Author” who currently works for the placebo based pseudo-scientific pyramid scheme, Lifewave.

Jaxine Bubis who also goes by her pen name Jaxine Daniels enjoys writing Romance Novels about parajumpers, ghosts, and hockey…think of her as a Sarah Palin, but rather than raising hockey players she fantasizes about them.

This week has been a rough one for the Recall Effort, having over 1/3 of their signatures considered invalid (with a challenge period still open) and a pending lawsuit against the petition alleging that the wording is unconstitutional. The nomination of such a fringe and inexperienced candidate however, signals a weak Republican field and adds onto a growing list of problems plaguing the NRA and Americans for Prosperity backed Recall Effort. Regardless of if she wins we fully expect Mrs. Bubis to release a campaign based romance novel about her experiences.

Here is a list of the local GOP lawmakers and organizations, that are reportedly endorsing Bubis, according to AmmoLand and Bubis’ website:

Rocky Mountain Gun Owners PACKent Lambert Senate District 9

Owen Hill Senate District 10

Dave Schultheis, ret. Senate District 9

Janak Joshi House District 16

Chris Holbert House District 44
