A plane crashed at Nashville International Airport on Tuesday morning but no one noticed for nearly 6 hours.
According to local news station WTVF:
“Crews were called to Runway 2 Center just after 9 a.m. Officials said one person was killed in the crash, but an identity was not immediately released.
Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration and Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority said the single-engine Cessna-172 crashed off the side of the runway around 3 a.m.”
