Open Letter To Joe The Plumber About ‘Dead Kids’ & Your Rights

I read your open letter to the parents of the slain Santa Barbara victims. I had to step away from my computer for fear I would vomit on my keyboard. Then I would have to go buy a new keyboard and deal with removing the vomit smell, and that would only cause me to despise you more than I do already.

The fact that you choose to promote your hateful agenda and suggest that “dead kids don’t trump your constitutional rights” is exactly how we will see better gun legislation enacted. Because you make the majority of Americans – who enjoy their right to bear arms but recognize a need for common sense gun laws – physically ill.

You and your friends who pretend to be patriots twist the 2^nd Amendment into some kind of green light to intimidate and bully sane Americans – and we are SICK OF IT! We see you for who you are: A bigot who has been brainwashed by big money and the NRA. You are unable to have independent thought and this is why you choose to punch grieving parents in the gut with your heinous choice of words – words that serve the NRA and no one else. If you truly cared about anyone other than your sorry self, you would understand that the last thing anyone wants to hear at this awful time is some politically driven lunatic who chooses to insult the parents of children who have been killed with bullets.

Your words are dangerous and you know it. You epitomize the height of irresponsible messaging and you dare to tie the term “Obama voter’ to this, which only exposes you as a racist bigot. And of course, we know you’ll deny that.

The Tea Party is an extremist minority and all of you will lose because the majority of people in this country want progress and we want to live in a country where we feel safe. We are not interested in going back to the wild west – and even then, guns were confiscated – or have you conveniently forgotten that fact?

The more vile your words, the more of a guarantee we have that background checks and other sensible gun laws are enacted. It is cretins like you who actually help the cause – despite your uncanny ability to sicken critical thinkers.
