Things got rather interesting on Thursday’s edition of The View when the panelist were discussing Russell Brand’s comments attacking Fox News the day before.
TheBlaze’s Will Cain was sitting in as guest host and received a lot of push back from Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd.
Cain and Goldberg got into it discussing whether words are harmful or not with Cain asserting they don’t matter, bringing up the old saying ““sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me.” Goldberg and Shepherd both expressed disagreement and Goldberg brought up the controversy surrounding the Washington Redskins as an example of the need to defend the rights of minorities to get angry over offensive language.
Cain replied: “We’ll all be out of business, we’ll all stop talking. Everybody’s offended all the time, from the Fighting Irish to the Redskins. Everyone’s offended.”
Goldberg responded saying “That is spoken like a true white guy,” but adding that she didn’t mean that “in a bad way.”
