Rick Perry Originally Charged With 3 Felonies But Grand Jury Forgot The 3rd

Remember the time Rick Perry couldn’t remember the third agency he would eliminate if he were to become president?

It’s three agencies of government when I get there that are gone – Commerce, Education and the um, what’s the third one there? Let’s see. Oh five – Commerce, Education and the um, um.”

Mitt Romney offered the Environmental Protection agency as a possible third with Perry initially agreeing: “EPA, there you go.”

However, Perry quickly retracted his statement, noting that the EPA needed to be reworked and not eliminated.

Perry continued to fumble on the third mystery agency with CNBC moderator John Harwood asking: “but you can’t name the third one?”

Perry completed the carnival of comedy responding:

The third agency of government I would do away with – the education, the uh, the commerce and let’s see. I can’t the third one. I can’t. Sorry Oops.”

[For any of you who care, the agency Perry forgot was the Department of Energy, who he was slamming pretty much every day at that time.]

So, in the spirit of Perry’s epic gaffe, we are wondering if maybe the Travis County Grand Jury issuing the indictment against Perry may have forgotten additional charges?
