Good News: Fox News Channel’s Parent Company Sees Net Profits Halve

Fox-Fail

There’s good news for liberals and progressives out this week as conservative media giant, Rupert Murdoch‘s News Corp, owner of Fox News Channel, The New York Post and The Wall Street Journal, saw third quarter net profits fall 52%, compared with the same period in 2014.

BBC Business reports that “declining advertising revenues and circulations for print publications meant profits fell to $23m for the quarter ended 31 March.”

Newspapers, in particular, continued to struggle with News Corp’s News and Information division showing revenue falling 9% overall. Ad revenue fell by 12% and circulation and subscription revenue declined by 6%.

Sadly, one would imagine that with the Republican Presidential Clown Car Express speeding out the gate that those numbers might see some improvement – at least in the United States – as low-information conservatives flock to Fox News for the latest spin on the election and, of course – BENGHAZI BENGHAZI.

BOO, y’all.
