Ted Cruz’s Stunning Record Of Failure, Rejection And Scorn

Ted Cruz

Ted Cruz’s stunning record of lies has been well-researched by Politifact and other fact-check organizations with less than pitiful results. But did you know he has an equally stunning record of failure as the junior senator from the Great State of Texas?

Let’s take a look shall we? [And please bear in mind that we could have listed dozens more examples for the various categories below, but felt that would be overkill.]

VOTING RECORD: FAIL

As GovTrack reports, “From Jan 2013 to Jul 2015, Cruz missed 103 of 908 roll call votes, which is 11.3%. This is much worse than the median of 1.6% among the lifetime records of senators currently serving.”

BILLS PASSED: FAIL

After serving roughly 2 1/2 years in office, Cruz has sponsored only one bill that was passed by the House and Senate and signed into law by President Obama. That bill, introduced on April 1, 2014 was lauded by Cruz as a sign of his great success in working across the aisle. Really!

RESPECTED BY REPUBLICAN COLLEAGUES: FAIL

RESPECTED BY MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA: FAIL

RESPECTED BY ACADEMICS, MISC. OTHERS: FAIL

RATINGS & ENDORSEMENTS: FAIL
