Disturbing live videos continue being transmitted by the remaining Oregon militants.
Oregon occupation leaders Ammon and Ryan Bundy were arrested along with five other militia members during a highway traffic stop about 45 miles north of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge they had been occupying since January 2 of this year.
The arrests ended in gunfire when Ryan Bundy and Arizona rancher LaVoy Finicum resisted arrest. Finicum, 54, was killed in the shooting according to a report by NBC News; and Ryan Bundy was shot in the arm, treated at a local hospital and subsequently released to FBI custody.
“We all thought it would end, but not like this,” Challice Finicum Finch said. “My dad did stress that they couldn’t pull a gun on them [officers] unless they pulled a gun. They were all committed to not firing on federal agents.”

Shortly after word of the arrests and Finicum’s death, the remaining militia members occupying the Malheur Reserve began transmitting live video feeds.
In the first clip, the DefendYourBase narrator released a 44-second clip entitled “Battle Time.” The transmission/clip only included audio with the narrator explaining in hushed tones that “they [the feds] currently got planes flying above the compound.”
It sounds like they arrested a couple of our guys and maybe even shot one of them and killed him, so this is probably the last transmission you are going to get from me. I just want to let everyone know that these are trying times. So I’m ready to take my stand, you know, give me liberty or give me death. So I’ve made my choice and I pray for all Americans that have to live through this. So, everybody take care.
In the next clip was released about half an hour later. The narrator claimed that Finicum was murdered, shot unarmed on his knees with his hands in the air.
I hate to be the one to bring the bad news, I’ve been managing LaVoy Finicum’s YouTube page for a couple of days and so, and unfortunately they are saying LaVoy Finicum was shot and killed. He was on his knees with his hands up and they shot him three times… and everyone who subscribed should probably be aware of that – so a good man died today. Hopefully it’s all rumors but it’s not looking good.
The unnamed narrator goes on to ask for armed reinforcements:
Everyone who’s on LaVoy’s Facebook page, if you are receiving this you should call out for arms to help us. We need help. They are probably going to raid us any minute. There’s spy planes flying above, circling around just gathering info – you know – counting how many people we have here. So I don’t know how long we are going to be out here, how long I can send out transmissions. But, I just felt you guys are entitled to know what’s the scoop going on. So may our Father be with us all. Let Him be with everyone else. These are trying times. Transmission out.
