Megyn Kelly is the latest Fox “News” anchor to throw Roger Ailes under the bus.
According to The New York Times, Kelly told investigators hired by the Murdoch family that she was sexually harassed by Fox CEO Roger Ailes.
The Times provided two sources who’ve said “Kelly has told investigators that Ailes made unwanted s-xual advances towards her about ten years ago when she was a young correspondent at Fox.”
The sources claim Kelly went into great detail when describing the alleged harassment.
Sources added Ailes has “received advice on strategy from Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani,” and they said if Kelly’s allegations are true, it would explain why, when other Fox personalities have publicly come to Ailes defense, she’s remained silent about the case.
This bombshell came one day after the Times reported Rupert Murdoch and sons Lachlan and James have decided to fire Ailes – although after publication, 21st Century Fox issued a statement saying: “This matter is not yet resolved and the review is not concluded.”
Kelly is one in a growing list of at least seven women who’ve come forward, including host Gretchen Carlson.
