GOP Pundit Hired Armed Guards To Protect His Home Because Of His Opposition To Trump

A conservative “Never Trumper” fears for the safety of his family.

Maybe you’ve heard of Erick Erickson. He’s a right-wing pundit, activist and blogger. He’s the one who first called Texas State Senator Wendy Davis “Abortion Barbie” after her historical and dramatic marathon filibuster against Texas’ omnibus abortion bill in 2013.

Erickson is one of very few conservatives who’s been an outspoken Trump opponent, and he told conservative radio host Steve Deacey, who’s also a “never Trumper,” that his opposition to Trump has lost him advertisers on his radio program, his children have been yelled at in the grocery store and that he’s had to hire armed guards to protect his home.

Whoa.

Armed guards to protect his home? Because he doesn’t support a presidential candidate?

Doesn’t that just say it all?

Hillary Clinton is no stranger to scandal and there are some pretty ridiculous accusations swirling around from her opponents – but one thing you will never hear is that Jill Stein voters would have to hire armed guards to protect them from possible violence!

The Trump supporters, also known as the “Basket of Deplorables,” have earned that characterization. They’re erratic and dangerous, just like their candidate. Many of them are white supremacists who bully and use violence to intimidate those who disagree with them.

In every election there are always people who wait until the very last minute to decide who they’re voting for. Maybe the fact that a conservative doesn’t feel safe in his OWN HOME because he opposes his party’s candidate might serve to convince a few more people to decide how they will cast their vote on November 8.
