Republican Senator Mark Kirk releases a Spanish ad declaring his opposition to Donald Trump.

Facing a tough re-election battle, Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) released a campaign ad on Wednesday declaring his opposition to Donald Trump.

The ad, featuring Kirk speaking Spanish, makes it crystal clear that “Yo no apoyo a Trump,” which translates to “I do not support Trump.”

Sen. Kirk’s official website reports that the 30-second ad is scheduled to run on Telemundo and Univision until the end of the election cycle.

Kirk is in a close race against Rep. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) and is “battling the ‘Trump Effect’ where Trump’s unpopularity in states like Illinois may cause the defeat of down-ticket Republicans” according to a report by the Chicago Sun Times.

The Hill reports that “Kirk withdrew his support for Trump after he attacked a federal judge born in Indiana, saying his ‘Mexican heritage’ prevented him from fairly overseeing a case involving Trump University.”

The translation for the full ad reads as follows:

When Donald Trump says bad things about immigrants, I have spoken against him. I do not support Trump. I have worked with Republicans and Democrats to reduce gang violence in Chicago and I support immigration reform to help keep families united. I am Mark Kirk and I approve this message, and I am proud to be your senator.
