Sanders A Washington Insider, Clinton More Dangerous Than Trump According To Jill Stein

Sanders and Clinton are ripped by Green Party candidate Jill Stein during an explosive interview.

The leader of the Green Party, Dr. Jill Stein, appeared in an interview on a Politico podcast and ripped into Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, and she minimized the danger Donald Trump presents.

She addressed the diagnosis provided by Donald Trump’s doctor Harold Bornstein which declared Trump would be “the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency” by saying, “You know, I don’t pretend to be able to do TV diagnosis, but I think the guy has a problem. The guy has a lot of problems — physical, mental, emotional, cognitive.”

Stein also minimized Trump’s manipulative behavior by calling it erratic. She cited his abrupt “softening” on immigration policies, his apparent confusion over the political positions he’s taken over time, and how he suddenly denounced birtherism after questioning President Obama’s citizenship for five consecutive years.

“It’s hard to, you know, to think too hard about anything Donald Trump says because he will change his mind in the next hour, if not the next day, or whatever,” Stein said. “Today, suddenly, after five years, he became convinced that it’s not an issue. Yesterday it was an issue. It will probably become an issue again for him. You know, the guy may have a memory problem. Who knows what it is? But he’s incapable of having a consistent thought or policy.”

Stein, whose polling average never surpasses 5 percent, insists she isn’t a spoiler; and she refuses to speculate on whether or not she can outdo Ralph Nader’s 2.7 million vote total in the 2000 election. She avoids discussing the 2000 election altogether and says her campaign is drawing off disaffected Sanders voters who wouldn’t have voted for Clinton in the first place.

While she admits that Donald Trump would be the worst thing to happen to this country, she also asserts the two-party system is tantamount to “death by gunshot or death by strangulation.”

Stein recognized Donald Trump as a danger but dismissed him as nothing more than a moron who has destroyed the Republican Party. She believes Hillary Clinton is more dangerous than Trump and said, “Donald Trump, I think, will have a lot of trouble moving things through Congress. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, won’t … Hillary has the potential to do a whole lot more damage, get us into more wars, faster to pass her fracking disastrous climate program, much more easily than Donald Trump could do his.”

Stein also lashed out against Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) by referring to him as a Washington insider.

“I’ve tried to talk with Bernie, but, you know, Bernie is — he is a team player,” she said, saying Sanders refuses to speak to her. “I think he’s on the wrong team, perhaps because he’s been in Washington, D.C. too long, because he used to really understand independent politics and why we cannot have a viable political system unless we have independent political parties.” She concludes that it could be “a generational thing.”

Sanders has been campaigning for Hillary Clinton and has cautioned his supporters against a third-party protest vote.

Stein is a regular on RT (Russia Today), and she calls Julian Assange a hero. She wouldn’t commit to the idea that Putin is a despot, saying, “To some extent, yes, but there could be a whole lot worse,” she said. But when it comes to fighting back against Putin she cautions against it. “When we needlessly provoke him and endanger him and surround him with war games — this is sort of the Cuban Missile Crisis on steroids … and I don’t think this is a good idea.”

She also doesn’t believe that Russia was involved in the DNC hacking or the idea that Putin would like to see a Trump presidency.
