What Celebrities Are Saying About Donald Trump

Donald Trump

Robert De Niro, Cher, George Takei, Ashley Judd, and other celebrities are blasting Donald Trump for his shocking 2005 remarks about women.

As one might expect, celebrities and politicians are expressing shock in the wake of the release of an audio recording of his repulsive 2005 remarks about women.

Trump issued a faux apology late Friday accusing former President Bill Clinton of say things “far worse” and apologizing “IF anyone was offended” by the remarks:

“This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course – not even close. I apologize if anyone was offended.”[emphasis added]

Noted actress and political activist Ashley Judd, who considered running against Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in 2014, tweeted: “I never heard him ‘apologize’ for talking to me & others about his family member’s spouse, and especially her breasts. THIS IS WHO HE IS.”

Longstanding Trump critic Cher tweeted: “LADIES … WE R NOT DISPOSABLE BLOW UP DOLLS,4RICH MENS PLEASURE.I HAD SCARY EXPERIENCE W/RICH IMPORTANT FILM PROD.& I WAS CHER I WANTED JOB.”

Famous Star Trek actor and activist George Takei unleashed a Twitter Storm on Trump. Favorites include:

Overheard: “Trump can say all the disgusting things he wants about women. Truth is, he’s losing to one next month.”

…. and “The GOP admittedly now has a huge pussy problem. And I don’t just mean Chris Christie.”

Actor, comedian and political commentator John Fugelsang had a couple of zingers.

His first tweet was “This would be a good time to decide whether we’re gonna go with ‘un-endorse’ or whether we’ll all be saying ‘de-endorse.'”

…. and “Trump’s apology was like a Beirut hostage video with better teleprompter.”

Legendary film actor Robert De Niro posted a YouTube video calling Trump a “dog, a pig, a con, a bullshit artist….” De Niro goes on to explain that he would like to “punch him in the face.”

Some other noteworthy tweets include Lena Dunham:

and Ron Perlman:
