Clueless Republican Senator Says Grabbing A Woman’s Genitals Isn’t Sexual Assault

Another Republican rapesplainer.

By now you’ve heard the damning 2005 tape where Donald Trump boasted about grabbing women “by the pussy.” In case you’ve been under a rock, here’s a link to the video.

Top Trump surrogate Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) was kind enough to mansplain that even if Donald Trump grabbed a woman “by the pussy,” he wasn’t actually [email protected] assaulting her.

“I don’t characterize that as [email protected] [email protected] I think that’s a stretch. I don’t know what he meant,”  Sessions told The Weekly Standard (WS) after Sunday night’s presidential debate.

“So if you grab a woman by the [email protected], that’s not [email protected] [email protected]?” the (WS) reporter asked Sessions.

“I don’t know,” Senator Rapesplainer replied. “It’s not clear that he — how that would occur.”

The Department of Justice defines [email protected] [email protected] in part as unwanted [email protected] contact, which is precisely what Trump described in the recording. In a conversation with Billy Bush, then host of “Access Hollywood,” Trump bragged about how he could kiss and grab women’s [email protected] without their consent because he’s a “star.”

“I just start kissing them,” Trump said on the 2005 tape. “It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. … Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”
