Pres. Obama shows class, living by Michelle Obama’s dignified words: “When they go low, we go high.”

President Obama struggled to keep a Clinton campaign rally focused during a Friday speech, coming to the defense of a man holding a Trump sign.

As The Daily Beast reports: “President Obama struggled to keep control of a crowd of Hillary Clinton supporters at a rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina after an elderly man held up a Trump sign and was shouted down with chants of ‘Hillary! Hillary!’ As the crowd began to boo the man, the president repeatedly yelled ‘Hold up!'”

“No, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.  Hold up.  Hold up.  Hold up.  Hold up.  Hold up.  Hey,  hold up!  Hold up!  Hold up!  Hold up!  Hold up!  Hold up!  Hold up, hold up, hold up!” Pres. Obama exclaimed as member of the audience chanted “Hillary! Hillary! Hillary.”

“Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, listen up!  Hey, everybody!  Everybody!  Hey!  Hey!  Listen up!  Hey!” He continued. “I told you to be focused, and you’re not focused right now!  Listen to what I’m saying.  Hold up!  Hold up!  Hold up!  Hold up!  Everybody sit down and be quiet for a second.  Everybody sit down and be quiet for a second.”

Seemingly unable to quiet the crowd, Obama continued, telling the crowd to keep “focused.”

“Now, listen up!  I’m serious, listen up.  You’ve got an older gentleman who is supporting his candidate.  He’s not doing nothing — you don’t have to worry about him.  This is what I mean about folks not being focused.”

Obama concluded his defense of the man by giving the crowd four reasons to to leave the man alone.

“First of all, we — hold up!  Hold up!  First of all, we live in a country that respects free speech.  (Applause.)  So, second of all, it looks like maybe he might have served in our military, and we’ve got to respect that.  Third of all, he was elderly, and we’ve got to respect our elders.  And fourth of all, don’t boo — vote!  (Applause.)  Don’t boo — vote!  Come on.”
