As GLSEN explains,
“This message was tweeted today from a student who found their teacher had posted it to the classroom door. Thank you, Señora Tarman. Supportive educators are more important than ever.“
The post addresses concerns of undocumented students, black students, Muslim students and students of Middle Eastern descent. It addresses the concerns of Mexican students, female students, LGBTQ students and ends with a powerful statement to “ALL students.”
