A recent poll from Public Policy Polling (PPP) shows that governing by Twitter and alternative facts is not improving The Donald’s credibility.
In fact, most Americans find the early days of the Trump White House a disaster. And for a real kick in the Trumpster chaos, SNL came out on top in a head-to-head competition for credibility.
When asked, “Who do you think has more credibility: Saturday Night Live or Donald Trump?”
The results were:
Saturday Night Live…. 48%
Donald Trump………… 43%
Not sure…………………. 10%
Things weren’t much better for Trump in other areas either.
Trump’s job performance rating remains in a steady hole, with a ten-point spread between those who approve at 43% to those who disapprove at 53%.
Building a wall between the United States and Mexico garnered cheers from Trumpster’s at campaign rallies. But when faced with the reality that Mexico was not going to pay for it, those cheers became boos. Only 37% said they were willing to foot the bill for Trump’s wall, compared to the 56% who didn’t think it was worth it, if it wasn’t free.
Kellyanne Conway and Sean Spicer are not well-liked either. Both are underwater in the favorability column, which is the flip of views on the Affordable Care Act. Much to the dismay of Ryan’s Safety Net Raiders, 47% want to keep their Obamacare, as opposed to 39% who don’t.

The survey was taken February 7-8, 2017 among 712 registered voters and has a margin of error of 3.7%.
