A poison gas attack launched in the northwestern province of Idlib on Tuesday has killed at least 100 people and wounded 300, including children, according to a report from the Union of Medical Care Organization. According to Sean Spicer, the fault lies with – who else? Obama!
According to Spicer, Obama’s “weakness” is to blame for the casualties and loss of life. However, when reporters on the call asked if Trump was concerned about Putin’s possible link to the attacks, Spicer wouldn’t answer and reasserted that the fault lies with the Obama administration.
Russia, along with Iran, has been an ally of the Syrian president dictator Assad.
Reuters reports the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights believes the attack was carried out by Syrian warplanes. Their conclusion is based on a number of factors, including the type of planes used in the attack – Sukhoi 22 jets.
The Syrian government has denied responsibility for the attacks. The Russian Defense Ministry has also denied culpability.
So there you have it. A Syrian dictator who has been bombing his own people. Russian jets. Obama’s fault.
