Ann Coulter’s War On Trump Just Got Real

Ann Coulter

Loyal to nothing other than her own bigotry and greed, Ann Coulter unleashes a Twitter tirade on Trump this week and mocks Trump in a Tuesday night speech.

Clarifying to one Twitter user that she is “former Trump” which is much “more formidable than ‘never Trump,'” conservative pundit, author and public speaker Ann Coulter took to Twitter this week unleashing a series of Tweets aimed at Trump.

Coulter covered a variety of topics, but focused mainly on the controversy surrounding Stormy Daniels, Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller’s ongoing Russia investigation, Trump’s inability to get funding for his wall, coupled with the overall failure to get a budget deal out of Congress adequately favoring his administration’s policy objectives.

Turning her attention to the ever escalating Stormy Daniels scandal, Coulter posted a remarkable tweet connecting the scandal to Trump supporters – who Coulter clearly thinks he screwed over with his inept administration.

“So Stormy says she and Trump had sex only once. I guess if you want the guy to screw you repeatedly, you have to be one of his voters,” she tweeted.

A few days later she mocked reports regarding the more disturbing allegations coming out of the Stormy Daniels scandal:

She seemed confused in another tweet when she responded to a tweet by Trump threatening to Veto the Omnibus Spending Bill because it did not address DACA or Trump’s funding for his beloved wall.

Trump had tweeted: “I am considering a VETO of the Omnibus Spending Bill based on the fact that the 800,000 plus DACA recipients have been totally abandoned by the Democrats (not even mentioned in Bill) and the BORDER WALL, which is desperately needed for our National Defense, is not fully funded.”

Coulter responded, tweeting: “Threatened veto NOT over the ‘F– You’ on the Wall — but over the DREAMERS. Can I sign up with Mueller?” which is still rather amusing, considering the offer to sign up for Team Mueller.

Coulter, fiercely anti-immigrant, seem particularly disturbed by Trump signing the Omnibus Spending bill last Friday (March 23, 2018) devoid of any meaningful funding for his beloved border wall.

As the Los Angeles Times reported over the weekend:

Trump signed the $1.3-trillion omnibus spending deal on Friday, averting another government shutdown. Written largely in secret and passed without any time to read its 2,232 pages, the bill violated pretty much everything the GOP had promised about reforming the process of legislating….

There’s a pittance for border security and some new fencing, but nothing for the president’s coveted “big, beautiful wall.”

It was reportedly this fact that prompted Trump to tweet a veto threat on Friday morning, sending White House and Hill staffers scrambling.

Then, in a shambolic press conference cum signing ceremony later that day, he grudgingly said he’d sign what he called “crazy” legislation. But, he added, he would “never” sign another bill like this again. The key message of the day: It’s not my fault!

The Hill reported on Monday that:

Coulter, an early supporter of Trump’s, has frequently criticized his administration. She has been particularly critical of the president in recent days over his decision to sign a $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill.

Coulter said Saturday on Fox News that, by signing the bill, Trump was failing to deliver on his promise to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

The bill contained $1.6 billion in funding for Trump’s wall, dedicated to shoring up current fencing. Trump had asked for $25 billion over 10 years to fund the full structure.

Coulter ended up posting several different tweets attacking Trump for his decision to sign the spending bill.

Her Twitter-tantrum began last Thursday (March 22) after Trump posted a tweet seeming to indicate his approval of the omnibus spending bill.

“Got $1.6 Billion to start Wall on Southern Border, rest will be forthcoming. Most importantly, got $700 Billion to rebuild our Military, $716 Billion next year…most ever. Had to waste money on Dem giveaways in order to take care of military pay increase and new equipment” he tweeted.

Coulter responded with a simple “OMG

She posted several other responses to Trump’s tweet attacking his defense that he would sign the bill due to its inclusion of increased military spending.

Returning her attention to immigration and the border wall, Coulter tweets included several retweets from others expressing outrage about its lack of funding in the spending bill. A sampling of her own tweets include:

  • Under @realDonaldTrump, U.S. will be the last country on earth to have a wall. @DRUDGE: Denmark to build big fence on German border…
  • Wall funding in omnibus bill won’t even stop prototype illegals: “bill specifically prevents the Trump administration from using any of the new wall designs it commissioned and tested in CA last yr.”
  • NO NEW BORDER AGENTS. Omnibus bill says NO new field agents for arresting illegals. Only more bureaucrats w/ full govt benefits.
  • Omnibus bill strips ICE of detention facilities for illegals.
  • IT’S 3-D CHESS! (There’s never going to be a wall.)

Coulter also appeared on Fox News to bash Trump for signing the spending bill:

In another post, Coulter hilariously posted a link to an article by The Atlantic discussing the fact that, by passing the omnibus spending bill, “GOP Congress didn’t just ignore Trump’s proposals: The $1.3 trillion spending bill actually exceeded many of Obama’s funding requests.”

In one eerie post, she tweeted that it’s no wonder Korean leader Kim Jong-un wants to meet with Trump, considering his gullibility.

“No wonder Kim Jong-un wants to have a sit-down negotiation with Trump. He’ll walk away with working nukes” she tweeted.

Some additional tweets included one responding to the appointment of John Bolton to replace outgoing National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster, considered by many to be one of the few voices of reason in the Trump administration – at least in regards to the subject of foreign wars.

New York Times national security editor Amy Fiscus tweeted: “NEW: McMaster out, Bolton in. It’s happening,” to which Coulter responded: “We voted for permanent war, right?”

In another tweet, Coulter predicted that Democrats would sweep the midterm elections due to Trump’s signing of the omnibus spending bill.

In another tweet she seemed to be predicting Trump’s loss in the 2020 election:

The Daily Beast reported that Coulter upped the ante during a Tuesday speech, accusing Trump of being “a shallow, lazy ignoramus” for “not giving us what he promised” on the campaign trail.

The Hill elaborated on the content of her speech: “I knew he was a shallow, lazy ignoramus, and I didn’t care,” Coulter told the audience.

“It kind of breaks my heart,” she added. “He’s not giving us what he promised at every single campaign stop.”
