Comedian Russell Brand speculates that Fred Phelps, along with other members of the Westboro Baptist Church, are all secretly gay.
Brand goes on to suggest that people should attend his funeral and act very respectful.
The clip is part of an ongoing series of videos published by Brand on his YouTube page, in which he discusses current events trending in the news. The series is entitle “Russell Brand the Trews” with trews presumably referring to “A typical stupid Woxyism, another way to say “true”. Also seen as ‘trewth,'” as noted in the Urban Dictionary.
According to his YouTube page:
I give you the true news so you don’t have to invest any money in buying newspapers that charge you for the privilege of keeping your consciousness imprisoned in a tiny box of ignorance and lies.
