How You Can Earn $12,000 Traveling The World And Drinking Beer This Summer

Want to earn $12,000 traveling the world and drinking beer this summer? You can!

Are you at least 21-years old? Want to spend the entire summer traveling the world and drinking beer while earning good money? World of Beer has an offer you can’t possibly refuse.

World of Beer, a Florida-based chain of craft beer taverns, is offering three paid internships this summer; the interns will travel the world drinking beer and share their experiences on social media and by blogging.

Calling it “The Internship of a Lifetime,” World of Beer (WOB) is “inviting a team of interns to travel the world, hopping from brewery to brewery, WOB tavern to WOB tavern, to explore beer for themselves and share their stories with WOB drinkers across the country.”

Whether you’re a photographer or writer, social media maverick or beer blog surfer, we are looking for you. Adventure seekers and storytellers, beer experts or novices, brewery nerds and foodie fans all open to apply. So if you want to live, drink and tell the tale to the world, get ready to apply for the chance to share your experience as a Drink It Intern.

According to the official job description, WOB is seeking:

  • People who are all about exploring and sharing their experience with their friends
  • Social media nuts who are always snapping photos of beer and food to share on social media
  • People who are passionate about beer and always looking to learn more
  • Creative types like photographers, bloggers, videographers, or simply really awesome Tweeters
  • Friendly folk who love meeting new people, sharing stories with strangers, and catching up over a beer
  • Outgoing personalities who can talk to anyone and carry the conversation
  • Travelers who love to hit the road every chance they get

Anyone interested in applying needs to  send a short video about why they think they are a good fit for the position. But hurry because you must submit your application before the March 26th deadline.

You can view the full details. All you have to do is follow the instructions listed on the WOB website here. “To be eligible, you must be 21 years old by March 1, 2016, and you must be a U.S. citizen or have a permanent U.S. work authorization. Open to applicants in all 50 states. You will not be needed on a full-time basis.”

Finalists will be selected the week of March 28th with final interviews to commence the week of April 4th; and the new interns will begin their globe-hopping beer drinking journey the week of April 25th.

According to the WOB website,

World of Beer (WOB) is the ultimate craft beer haven that offers guests a global beer experience right from the barstool. The original craft beer tavern complements its database of more than 28,000 beers with a signature tavern fare menu featuring a variety of elevated comfort food that provides the perfect marriage of food and beer for an unparalleled experience. Because, the way WOB sees it, guests should do more than drink a beer, they should drink it in. World of Beer encourages guests to drink in the moments they encounter at the tavern. Whether it be through the bottle, the glass, the menu, the live music or the company, WOB offers the best craft variety on the planet to the beer aficionado and casual beer fan alike. There are currently more than 75 taverns open in 20 states including AL, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, LA, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OH, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA and WI and will be opening soon in IN, KY, MA, MN, OK and PA. World of Beer CEO and President Paul Avery told trade journal Brew Bound that they plan to have 100 locations open by the end of 2016 to include their first international location in Shanghai.

“2015 was an excellent year of growth for World of Beer, as we have not only met but exceeded our goal of robust growth and in adding quality franchise partners,” Avery said, adding: “I’m proud of our exceptional franchise partners and corporate team that continue to push our brand and make it a leader in the craft beer industry. Last year’s success has set us up for another promising year, and we look forward to expanding the World of Beer brand to new markets nationwide and overseas in markets such as China, India and the Philippines.”
