John Fugelsang questions Mitt Romney’s reputation as a flip flopper. John notes that while on the surface Romney appears to flip flop on the issues, if you look at the bigger picture- one thing becomes abundantly clear. Mitt Romney is a man who will do and say anything to get elected – is willing to do whatever it takes. So in that sense, Mitt Romney has been consistent.
John goes on to explain it is the GOP voting base itself who are flip floppers.
“But if you look at his history, one consistent clear pattern emerges and that is that this is a man who has always been willing to do, say or believe anything to get elected. And in that sense my friends, he has been a consistent and constant human windsock for his entire career. I would submit to you that the real GOP flip floppers are the GOP voting base. Our Republican friends went through 7 different front-runners in the very short 2012 primary race.”
