Sergio Garcia gives Tiger Woods an unreserved apology for saying he would cook the world’s number 1 golfer fried chicken if he came round to his house for dinner:
“We will have him round every night. We will serve fried chicken.”
Garcia made the remark when asked whether he would ask Woods to his house during the US Open to resolve an ongoing spat between the two players. Garcia fell out with Woods when the crowd reacted to Woods pulling a five-wood out of his bag while the Spaniard was still lining up his shot.
Woods called Sergio Garcia’s “fried chicken” remark “wrong, hurtful and clearly inappropriate.”
