In many ways it seems the Sochi Olympic Games coverage has been dominated by disasters and scandals more than the games themselves.
Issues range from LGBT rights to the murder of stray dogs, from unsafe arena conditions to an athlete having to force his way out of a bathroom after finding himself locked inside.
Jon Stewart took on the many problems surrounding the games Monday night in a segment entitled Olympics Has Fallen: “Russian officials cite bathroom surveillance video evidence in disputing reports of unsatisfactory living conditions at the Sochi Olympic Games. “
