Jon Stewart spoke with Sigourney Weaver earlier this week about her role in the new USA Network show Political Animals. Political Animals is a six episode American miniseries that premiered on July 15, 2012, and will air Sundays at 10/9c.
In the series, Sigourney Weaver plays Elaine Barrish, a HillaryClinton like figure who becomes U.S. Secretary of State after failing to get her party’s presidential nomination. Barrish was first lady while her husband, the president, tended to sleep around.
