Anti-Science Tea Party backed Rep. Sandy Adams bites the dust

Tea Party failWith recent gains by Tea Party supported candidates in Republican primaries nationwide, the recent loss by Rep. Sandy Adams is a welcome event.

With America experiencing its greatest economic challenges since the Great Depression on most fronts,  Rep.  Adams of the House Science and Technology Committee has been busy with jobs bills, right?   Wrong.

Surely she has been busy pushing legislation to stimulate economic growth, correct?  Nope.

You know what her focus was about this time last year?  She was working to amend the already dubious “Better Use Of Light Bulbs Act“, proposing to add language to the bill to “”prohibit the use of funds for maintaining, developing or creating any Web site which disseminates information regarding energy efficiency and educational programs on energy efficiency specifically to children under 18 years of age”.
