Coulter explodes about pro-Obama Super PAC Ad – Jon Stewart calls her out

Jon Stewart Ann Coulter point counterpointLast Wednesday Ann Coulter exploded about an ad released by the pro-Obama Super PAC Priorities USA that essentially accused Mitt Romney of causing the death of a steelworker’s wife by cancer.  Coulter went on to tear into Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul for her “completely idiotic response” to the ad calling on the Romney campaign to fire her immediately.

“Her response was not that it was despicable, not that Bain… that Romney had left Bain five years earlier or the woman died five years after the plant closed and didn’t even get her insurance from her husband, her response was, ‘Well, if she had lived in Massachusetts with Mitt Romney’s health care plan, she would have had health insurance.’ Anyone who donates to Mitt Romney, and I mean the big donors, ought to say if Andrea Saul isn’t fired and off the campaign tomorrow, they are not giving another dime, because it is not worth fighting for this man if this is the kind of spokesman he has…

There’s no point in you doing your show, there’s no point in going to the convention and pushing for this man if he’s employing morons like this. This ad is the turning point and she has nearly snatched victory from the jaws of defeat! She should be off the campaign.”

The very next night, Jon Stewart called her out along with Fox News for revealing their displeasure at going off the message they designed.

After playing the clip, show below (along with Stewart’s) Stewart had the following to say:

“Did you guys catch that? The part where [Coulter] said to Sean Hannity, the Republican  presidential candidate has made a move we disagree with and it makes me so mad  because you all at this news network have been working so hard to push for him,  yet he continues to go off the message you designed.”
