West Wing Reunion: Walk and Talk the Vote

Nearly the entire cast of The West Wing has come together and in character to shoot one of the most effective campaign ads of the season.

The ad talks about people voting in the partisan section of ballots but ignoring the important non-partisan section where judges are elected and ballot initiatives are decided. Along the way, the characters manage to work in an endorsement for cast member Mary Catherine McCormack’s sister, Bridget Mary McCormack, a University of Michigan law professor who is appearing on the non-partisan portion of the Michigan ballot as a candidate for the Supreme Court.

In one part of the video someone asks “Who is Mary McCormack” and her sister walks into the scene saying “No clue, but something tells me she’s delightful, and whip smart, and possibly hot!”.
