Nancy Pelosi is accusing the Republicans of holding the middle class hostage in exchange for tax cuts for the super wealthy, cuts that will ultimately contribute to the deficit but will not create any new jobs.
The House Minority Leader said Friday that stalling on a solution on the “fiscal cliff” is harmful to confidence for consumers and the market. She also added “When the last minute is the last day of the month, I think that that’s not right.”
