Still reeling from the presidential election results, Mr. Burns takes a few minutes to explain the upcoming fiscal cliff.
Finally acknowledging that “rape is bad” and after learning that in spite of Karl Rove’s theatrics, Mitt Romney did in fact lose the presidential election, Mr. Burns of The Simpsons decided it was time to explain the looming “fiscal cliff” to Americans.
“Think of the economy of a car, and a rich man as the driver. If you don’t give the driver all the money, he’ll drive you over the cliff. It is just common sense.”
