Just in time for the holidays, Samuel L. Jackson and Anne Hathaway duke it out over whose new movie is “saddest” for the season.
“My movie is literally called ‘The Miserable,’” Hathaway told Jackson, who went on to note, “I guess your movie’s kinda dark, too.”
“‘Kinda dark, too. Interesting choice of words there, Anne. You do know my movie’s about slavery?” chided back Jackson, who is starring in an upcoming slave revenge movie entitled Django along with Jamie Foxx in the starring role.
“You try being a black man in the South in the 1800s,” he told Hathaway. “I bet you couldn’t even handle being a black man in the South right now.”
Samuel is a writer, social activist, and all-around troublemaker.
