Clinton spokesperson Philippe Reines has announced that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been admitted to New York-Presbyterian Hospital following the discovery of a blood clot.
It is believed that the clot is the result of a concussion Clinton sustained earlier this month.
Clinton is being treated with anti-coagulants and is expected to be monitored by hospital staff for 48 hours.
