The Tea Party Plot To Take Over The House of Representatives

General-GingrichTea Party Nation founder, Judson Phillips, has a novel idea for replacing Speaker of the House John Boehner – use someone not currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives.

That makes perfect sense, right?  I guess it does to Phillips, who is not known for being lucid.

Referring to the Speaker of the House as the “the de facto leader of the Republican Party [… and] the opposition to Barack Obama and the Party of Treason,” Phillips made his case for ousting Boehner as House Speaker, blaming him for the national debt in an article posted on the Tea Party Nation forum early yesterday morning.

When it comes to replacing Boehner, Phillips writes that “None of the current House leadership is good enough to replace Boehner.  Eric Cantor and Kevin McCarthy are just as bad.”

“We need someone who can take on Barack Obama, Harry Reid and the Party of Treason,” added Phillips who went on to add that “We need someone with the skills of a field general who understands that this is a war.”

So who does Phillips think should be the new Speaker of the House?

“There is only one person in the Republican Party or the greater conservative movement who fits the bill.

That man is Newt Gingrich.

Newt is not currently a Member of Congress.

That does not matter.  The Constitution does not mandate that the Speaker of the House be a Member of Congress.”

So what is the next step?  Phillips is asking others to “Join me in urging House Republicans to dump John Boehner and draft Newt Gingrich to be the next Speaker of the House of Representatives.”

The best of luck getting that one past any0ne with an IQ higher than their shoe size.
