Willie Nelson spoke with Piers Morgan late last year about the firearms debate.
Nelson said that he grew up around guns and hunting and had no problem with guns in general, but that he felt high-powered assault rifles were different:
“I don’t know what I would do with a gun that would shoot 100 times,” Nelson told Morgan. “I don’t agree with that. I think it should be more regulated. I think a lot of guns – there’s no need for civilians to own those. Those are for military.”
