The Philadelphia Police Department has published a video of a triple shooting on YouTube in hopes of finding the attacker.
The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detectives Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect for a shooting that injured three males 19-22 years-of-age in West Oak Lane.
On March 19, 2013, at 10:34pm, an unknown male approached the Chinese Food store located at 6600 North 18th Street armed with a handgun.
The suspect then walks up to the front door and fires a shot into the store at the victims. One of the victims struggles to keep the suspect out of the store by holding the door closed.
The suspect then reaches around the door and fires several shots into the store and into a group of people. After several failed attempts to get at the victims inside the store, the suspect backs up and fires several shots through the glass door striking the victims inside the store. The suspect then turned and fled the area north on 18th Street from 66th Avenue. All three victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Suspect Description: Black male, 6’0″-6’2″, medium build, beard/goatee, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt with possibly a “Nike” emblem on the front, dark colored pants and baseball batting gloves.
