The Republican National Committee is blasting President Obama for failing to successfully pass gun legislation in their latest attack ad, overlooking the fact that GOP lawmakers were the ones who blocked the initiative.
The ad, called “The First 100 days,” criticizes the president for his lack of legislative success in his second term to include issues surrounding the sequester and immigration as well as gun control.
The ad overlooks the fact that the gun amendment failed 54-46, with 41 GOPers and five rural-state Democrats blocking the plan.
