The US attorney’s office has reported that state and federal indictments will be announced this afternoon against alleged Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev.
The US attorney’s office said a 30-count indictment had been returned by a federal grand jury.
A 3 p.m. news conference has been slated at the federal courthouse. US Attorney Carmen J. Ortiz, and officials from the Middlesex and Suffolk district attorney’s office, as well the head of the Boston FBI and the head of the Massachusetts State Police are expected to attend.
