Former green beret and Iraq War veteran, 35-year-old Justin Stanfield Thomas, was accidently shot and killed by his 4-year-0ld son at a Prescott Valley, Arizona, home.
According to local news affiliate ABC15, Thomas was visiting a former roommate when his son found the gun and accidently pulled the trigger, fatally wounding him:
“Within minutes the little boy found the gun, said ‘Daddy, what’s this?’ Then, it went off,” said neighbor Jeremy Hartt, who was also friends with Thomas.”
