An Oregon bartender was surprised to find that a Keno ticket given to her as a tip was worth $17,500.
Aurora Kephart was working last Tuesday at Conway’s Restaurant and Lounge in Springfield, Oregon, when a generous regular gave her an unused Keno ticket as a tip.
According to local ABC affiliate KEZI, the patron – who wishes to remain anonymous – regularly tips her with Keno tickets.
“He’ll hold out the tickets and say pick which one you want.”
This time, to her surprise, the ticket was a winner for $17,500. “I automatically handed back the ticket and I was like I’m sorry I can’t take it and he had me sign it and said you’re the only one who could cash it now,” said Kephart.
